I love them - it looks nice the way that the stripes came out.

Excellent choice of yarn. They're so fun!

Aren't they great? I love the fit! I just have half a sock left to complete my pair!

Exactly. You see? This is what I envisioned the Jaywalkers to look like in self-striping yarn! Those are a perfect example :). I'd love to include them in the gallery, if it's okay with you.

I've just found your blog. I think I love you. ;)
Seriously, you do amazing work. I've just now started getting interested in fair isle, and seeing what you've done is encouraging to say the least. There will now be two blogs I read regularly. :)

Nice!
I've been thinking of knitting Jaywalkers with my Cherry Tree Hill yarn. I think I'm going to swatch on size 0 needles, because looking at the measurements in the pattern, I'd like mine a bit snugger. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's had that idea. But I'm still swatching, 'cause who knows what my gauge will be compared to anybody else's. (I might knit the larger size, if I need to, to get to use size 0 needles. I have a brand new set that are begging to be broken in.)

Now you're just trying to make me look bad. Four days later and I'm ripping mine out to start again and you're done already!

Terrific yarn for the socks. I'm beginning to think that the only yarn that isn't great with these is the yarn Kathy knit the orginal pair in. It SO undersells them.

Those socks are adorable! I love the colours and the pattern you used. It's a shame that yarn is discontinued.

Great work! I just bought some self-striping sock yarn, but didn't really know what to do with it. But now I know.

Very cool socks! I've got to branch out from stockinette socks... jaywalker may be doable for me... hmmm, you've inspired me!

Hi, I don't think I've commented before, but I love your knits, and your scary profound efficiency! It's inspiring.
I work full time at Webs (www.yarn.com) and I'm pretty sure that was a text book for a recent class we had. We decided to keep the extras (I have to double check this!) and if we did I can put one aside for you. =)
