How is everyone planning to finish this stole? I'm still in the center panel, but have been thinking a lot lately about the dressing directions. Are you guys going to starch as directed?

I'm planning to block mine like I usually block my lace: soak it in Eucalan, wrap it in a towel and get as much water out as possible, then toss it on the carpet and pin it out. If it doesn't seem like that works well, then I'll go the starch route. But I've never done the starching before, so I'm saving it as a last resort.
I'm more interested in something I find soft and has a beautiful drape, while still maintaining as much of the open lace as I can. I'm also going with aggressive blocking, but no starch. I haven't decided if I'm going to give the blocking frame a go, as suggested in the book, or use blocking wires/string and pins. Probably the wires/pins because I won't want to make the frame too by the time I'm done ...
